Privacy Policy — Cleo Lifestyle (Android)

This Privacy Policy explains how Cleo Home LLC, trading as Cleo LifestyleCleo," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Cleo Lifestyle app (the "App") for Android. It does not cover thecleolifestyle.com online store or other services, which are governed by their own notices. (The iOS app has its own policy.)
By using the App you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
At a glance
The App works mostly on your device. Your rituals, streak, points, dosha result,  bookmarks, and settings are stored locally on your phone — not on our servers.
You need an account to use the App. We use Sign in with Google and receive only  your name and email.
Marketing is opt-in and off by default. We only copy your profile off your device   to our marketing list if you switch it on. You can turn it off, or delete everything,  at any time in Settings → Settings & Privacy.
We do not run ads, ad-tracking, analytics SDKs, or session recording, and we do  not sell your personal information.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)

 2. Information we collect
 a. Account information (when you sign in)To use the App you sign in with Google. From that sign-in we receive your name and email address, and a record of when you joined. We never receive or store your Google password.
b. Information stored on your device
As you use the App it stores the following locally on your device. By default this information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:
- Your dosha (Ayurvedic body-type) quiz result;
- Ritual activity — bottle fills, water logged, daily "dinacharya" check-ins;
- Streak, loyalty points, and total rituals;
- Bookmarks and eBook reading progress;
- App settings and reminder times (theme, sound, fill/drink times, etc.).
c. Marketing-list information (only if you opt in)
If you turn on "Marketing & updates" (off by default), we copy a snapshot of your profile to our marketing list so we can send you relevant tips, content, and offers.That snapshot contains:
- Name and email;
- Dosha, hydration style, and onboarding status;
- Streak, total rituals, and points;
- Date you joined and last-active date;
- Timezone, device platform (e.g. "android"), and App version;
- Your consent status and the policy version you agreed to.
Some of this (for example your dosha and hydration habits) relates to your wellness. We treat it with care and only collect, sync, or use it for marketing with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
d. Information collected automatically
We deliberately keep this to a minimum. The App contains no analytics, advertising,attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs, and uses no advertising identifier. When the App connects to the internet to sync your marketing list (only if you opted in) or to load content such as product images, eBooks, or podcast links, the receiving server may process standard technical data such as your **IP address** and device/network information, as is inherent to any internet request. We do not use this to track you across apps or websites.
e. What we do not collect
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, calendar, photos, biometric data,health records, or any advertising/cross-app identifiers, and we do not record your screen or sessions.
3. How we use your information

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal orsimilarly significant effects, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
Consent — for adding you to our marketing list and sending you marketing   communications, and for processing wellness-related information such as your dosha.   You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).
Performance of a contract  — to provide the App and your account.
Legitimate interests — to keep the App secure and prevent abuse, balanced against  your rights.
Legal obligation  — where we must process data to comply with the law.
5. Consent and your choices
- Marketing collection is opt-in and off by default. Nothing leaves your device for  marketing unless you turn it on.
- You can turn it off at any timein Settings → Settings & Privacy → Marketing &
  updates. When you turn it off, we remove your profile from our marketing list.
- You can delete your account and data in the same screen ("Delete account"). This   wipes your local data and removes your profile from our marketing list.
- Declining or withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent you from using the App.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
Service providers (processors) who help us run the App, under contract and only as  needed:  Google LLC — Sign in with Google, and the cloud service we use to store the  marketing list;  - any email/marketing provider we engage to send communications you have consented to.
Linked services you choose to open — the App links out to our store on  cleolifestyle.com (hosted by Shopify) and to our podcast on Spotify. When you   open these, you interact with those third parties under theirprivacy policies.
Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect   rights, safety, and security.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets   subject to this Policy.
*Note: our marketing list is currently stored using Google's cloud services. If we change providers, we will update this Policy.*
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
Access a copy of your personal information;
Rectify inaccurate information;
Erase your information ("right to be forgotten");
Restrict or object to processing;
Data portability;
- <Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing);
Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
You can exercise the core rights directly in the App (withdraw marketing consent; delete your account and data). For any other request, email Hello@cleo-home.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or sharepersonal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.EEA / UK (GDPR): you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Other regions: if you are located outside the United States, local data-protection laws may give you additional rights; email Hello@cleo-home.com to exercise them.
8. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers (such as Google) may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy determination).
9. Data retention
On-device data remains until you delete your account or uninstall the App.
Marketing-list data is kept until you opt out, delete your account, or it is no   longer needed, after which it is removed from the active list.
Consent records (what you agreed to and when) may be retained longer where needed as proof of compliance.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for any data sent off your device, access controls on our marketing list, and data minimisation. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 , and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact Hello@cleo-home.com and we will delete it.
12. Push notifications
If you enable reminders, the App may send you notifications (for example, fill/drink-water reminders). You can turn these off at any time in your device settings. We do not usenotifications to collect additional personal information.
13. Third-party links
The App links to third-party services, including our store on cleolifestyle.com (Shopify) and our podcast on Spotify. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; pleasereview their policies before providing information to them.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again within the App.
