1. How can I verify that my CLEO copper product is 100% authentic, and why does it look like the copper is peeling?
Every CLEO product is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans using high-grade, pure Ayurvedic copper. Because each piece is individually shaped rather than mass-produced by machines, you may notice unique structural variations. Sometimes, customers notice natural surface flakes or standard oxidation scales that look like peeling. Rest assured, our vessels are completely solid, pure copper and do not have any synthetic coatings or artificial chemical linings that could peel off. What you are seeing is simply a characteristic of raw, natural copper reacting to its environment, which is the true hallmark of authentic craftsmanship.
2. Why is my copper bottle changing color inside, and what should I do about oxidation?
Please don't worry—this color change is entirely safe and a wonderful sign of pure copper! Pure copper undergoes a natural process called oxidation when it comes into contact with water and oxygen, leading to a darker patina or faint dark spots. This is a definitive indicator that your bottle is untreated and completely real. You can easily restore its natural inner glow by swirling a gentle mixture of lemon juice (or tamarind) and a tablespoon of salt inside the bottle, rinsing it thoroughly with lukewarm water, and drying it completely with a soft cloth.
3. The cap's O-ring or threading doesn't seem to align perfectly. How can I fix this?
Because our bottles are individually handcrafted, the precision threading and silicone O-ring seals can occasionally require a brief "break-in" period to align flawlessly. If you experience any resistance or a minor misalignment when twisting the cap, simply press down evenly on the cap before you begin turning, and twist it slowly to help the threads align naturally. Ensuring the silicone O-ring is seated completely flat inside the cap will also resolve any alignment hiccups and give you a perfectly secure, leak-proof seal.
4. Can I store water in my CLEO bottle and keep it in the refrigerator?
We generally recommend keeping your CLEO copper bottle at room temperature to fully maximize the traditional Ayurvedic benefits of copper-infused water. However, if you prefer your water chilled, you can absolutely place the bottle in the refrigerator. We just kindly ask that you never place the bottle inside the freezer, as the extreme expansion of freezing water can warp or permanently damage the handcrafted copper structure.
5. Where is CLEO based, and do you ship internationally?
CLEO is proudly headquartered in the United States, where we manage our primary operations and design. To bring the holistic benefits of the Ayurvedic lifestyle to a global community, we have also expanded our presence and fulfillment networks across multiple countries, including Germany, Canada, and India. This allows us to serve our US customers efficiently while smoothly handling international logistics across the globe.
6. How can I track my international order?
Once your order is processed on our platform, you will automatically receive an email confirmation containing your unique tracking number. We primarily partner with premium global couriers like FedEx to ensure reliable, swift delivery directly to your doorstep. You can track your shipment's journey at any time via the courier's portal using the direct link provided in your email.
7. Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
We process and dispatch all orders promptly to ensure you receive your beautifully crafted vessel as quickly as possible. If you realize you need to update your shipping destination, please reach out to our support team right away. We can easily modify the address for you as long as the package has not left our facility, though we are unfortunately unable to reroute a shipment once it has been handed over to the courier.
8. I received an incomplete order with missing items. How will this be resolved?
Please accept our sincere apologies for the oversight with your shipment. We completely understand how disappointing it is to look forward to your package and find something missing. Rest assured, our team is already on top of this, and we will ship your pending items to you as absolutely fast as possible. You will receive a new tracking number via email the moment the remaining pieces of your order leave our facility.
9. I received the wrong order. What are the next steps to get my correct product?
We are incredibly sorry for the mix-up with your delivery, and we want to make this right for you immediately. Please reach out to our support team with a quick photo of the items you received. We will promptly arrange for a brand-new replacement of your correct order to be shipped out, and we will coordinate with you to take back the incorrectly received product at no extra cost to you. We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we correct this for you.
10. My tracking status hasn't updated in a few days. Should I be concerned?
There is no need to worry. International logistics occasionally experience minor tracking pauses as packages transit through global sorting hubs, clear customs checkpoints, or transition between regional delivery networks. If your tracking status remains stalled for more than 5 business days, please reach out to our dedicated support team, and we will happily look into it and contact the carrier on your behalf.
